Still alive but definitely over it’s peak. What a treat to get to try! Fresh turned earth and humus, little bit of green Cabernet characteristics coming through, and just a hint of sweet fruit and spice. Even a touch of tannin! — 7 years ago

Delicious nose on tart plum, violets, crushed pepper, and light meaty/gamy notes. On the palette it is fresh, lean, and bright with the same tart plum notes but with blackberry, fine tannin, and great acidity. Really open up after about an hour in the glass — 8 years ago

Nose on honey/honeysuckle, very floral and pungent with apple and pear notes. Viscous mouthfeel with good acidity and mineral finish. Fun wine. First time w gewürztraminer but will not be the last! — 8 years ago

This wine really benefitted from about an hour of air time. Beautiful. Less ripe than the ‘15’s. Showing much more herbaceousness with a slightly grassy/hay quality. Silky on the palette with good acidity. — 8 years ago
