Pratt Vineyard Vine Hill Chardonnay

Complex nose of pear, honey, and vanilla. Excellent mouth-watering acidity that coats your mouth. This is a big Chardonnay.

Thanks to friends on Delectable for introducing me to MacPhail - I haven't been disappointed yet.

Tart, citrus on the front - vanilla and almond as a finish. Not a Great Wine, but at this price point, and a single vineyard, a good deal -and a summer refresher.

14.3 ABV.

Light golden yellow hue. Vanilla, oak, and buttery brioche on the nose. Surprisingly light on the palate with yellow apple, lemon curd, and grapefruit.

A pretty good chard with fruit and a smooth finish. No bite. We had this on 4/16/16.
