MacMurray Ranch
Reserve Estate Vineyards Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Full of fruit, nice full body, extracted color, and enough supporting acidity to pair perfectly with baked Brie and blueberry compote.

Aug 15th, 2016Dark Ruby with dark berry fruit aromas with a good dose of complex spice. On the palate Black cherry fruit and sour blackberry flavors were noted, complex with pepper spice, slight toasty quality and lively acidic. Good balance, smooth tannins with nice length and minerality on the finish. I thought the 2012 was a tad better, but let's check back in a year!

May 22nd, 2016Ruby with aromas red fruits with floral scents. The palate shows black cherry, cranberry and sour strawberry flavors, with a touch of pungent spice. Medium body, good acidity and balance with hints of oak on the mid-length ending. Tasting Sample.

Apr 26th, 2016Dark ruby in color with a light purple rim.
Fruity on the nose with cherries, strawberries, current, metals, earth, dirt, vanilla, cedar, green peppers, light cloves white pepper.
Light to medium bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with cherries, blueberries, currents, vanilla, licorice, bitter almonds, spices, forest floor and black pepper.
Medium plus on the finish with firm, yet round tannins and peppercorn.
Ok Pinot Noir, with a feel of an inexpensive Cabernet from California. A bit bitter, but nicely balanced.

Lovely Pinot Noir. light and dry. Easy to drink. And Del Frisco’s cheapest bottle of PN 🤣
