Macdonald
Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
Perhaps the best stately young Napa Cabernet I've ever tried from brothers and 3rd gen ToKalon vinetenders/winemakers @Graeme MacDonald & @Alex MacDonald. It's drinking napa history and future, and god damn is it brilliantly delicious.

May 8th, 2015An absolutely beautiful wine from one of my personal favorite vintages of Napa since 2006 (you get the picture?).
With great balance and solid tannins this has everything needed for it to blossom in 15+ years (except only 116 cases were produced). I wish I had all of them ;-))

I'll refer from rating this specific bottle as I think it was showing slightly "off".
Nonetheless I'm a huge fan of what Graeme (and Alex) are doing and know that we'll hear a lot more (hint-hint) to these guys in the future.
