Packaging - presentation - hype - nice heavy glass bottle. All very impressive. The whisky disappoints. Rare cask indeed. Rough, overly peated and not what one expects from Macallan. Expensive and Not Worth it.

Smooooooth

A brisk switch to grain. Butterscotch, dried dark fruits, sweet maltiness, adequate balance. Though a part of it sets me off, can't complain about much still.
