Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan. This sub $20 beauty is funky and rich with beef blood, moss, leather, tobacco, and stewed plums. Not a wine for everyone but punching above it’s weight. In a dumb phase now. Stay tuned. Great BTG pour.

Mainly Syrah and Grenache, this is a great wine from Rhone Valley. Rich texture with prominent notes of blackberries and spice. Finish is long and excellent. Well balanced tannins and nice complexity. $20

It was delicious & complex, but pulled too much dark 🍒 licorice and I am not a licorice fan.

Bold and tannic but easy to drink after a 1 hr decant. Smoke, leather, black fruit, savory herbs, and meat. This wine packs a punch, but in the best way possible.

Dense, chewy, and meaty with notes of blackberry, pepper, and chocolate ganache. Full-bodied and richly textured. Terrific wine and a terrific value.

Funkytown. Serious B. O. Some plum sauce down below. Lovely flavors. Spice, herbs, and rose hips. Flavors hit the mark. Complex and complicated wine with attitude.

First time trying this... it’s tasty. More full bodied than some of his others. Very nice grenache, Shiraz, carignan blend.
