Top Notes For
It's not bad but has this chocolate powder note that is slightly distracting. Otherwise it's all prunes, dates, bruised plums, glazed cherries and candied walnuts. Soft, silky and warm to taste, it does what it needs to without stealing any hearts.

Jul 6th, 2014Slighty muted nose. Better in the mouth - suave and broad with all the Grenache sexiness you'd expect. Significant sugar is well-buffered by acid/tannin synergy.

Mar 1st, 2014Vintage Vin Doux Naturel (fortified wine). Nose seems muted. Faint maraschino cherry among a fog cloud. Mouthfeel is rich and full @ 17%. Grape jelly, currant compote. I find VdX simple and enjoyable.
