Psarades Vineyard Dry Plyto

Getting tired with elevated and slightly browning color. Nose is still snappy and citric. Palate is a bit flat.

Lacks the mineral snap of the last bottle. Drink up? Maybe a younger vintage would be showing better.

As well made and satisfying as I remembered. Pours a pale yellow gold. Nose is a lemons, zest, oil, blossoms and wet stone. Medium plus body, fresh medium plus acid, dry. A great alternative to more reductive, minimally oaked Chardonnay.

Tropical, Mediterranean nose. Passion fruit, fennel, olives, dried citrus. Interesting.

Super saline and fresh. Killer with oysters. This is the variety Plyto btw @Delectable Wine.

A very rare Greek grape from Crete that was brought back from near extinction. Lemony. A well rounded and easy drinking white. Actually paired okay with steak. What can you do when it’s hot and swampy in Greece, drink red?
