Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

A nicely aged Cab. Still a bit gritty. Big nose. Softened as aeration worked its magic.

On the wane, but only slightly. Dark, fuzzy blackish purple. Nose of cassis and cocoa; reflected with a black coffee and licorice finish on the palate. Full, round body. Medium acidity. Medium plus tannins. New World all the way, and a good premium representative of the appellation.

Fruity and plump. A bit gritty.

A solid Cab for a reasonable price. Ok tanins

Ripe and big. A bit disjointed and candied.

Disappointing after the Merlot. Soft, delicate wine. Neither big nor bold.

Smooth as silk but without an excess of vanilla or caramel, this CS has restrained cherry and blueberry flavors and a light chocolate finish.

Good cab, nice structure but a hint too much vanilla for my taste. Quality wine though.
