After three days they were still enough tart tannins to coat your tongue. Write black and current berry, a little red fruit. Lush with medium acid. A good drink, but I’m still surprised at it’s tightness after three days.

Last minute call to open for a Sunday night glass. Super tight out of the gates - the fruit is there on the nose and entry only to have very firm tannins clamp down on the finish. Giving it another go after 90 minutes open and now the tannins have softened allowing the ample black fruit to shine through. Will absolutely decant the next one.
