Full bodied with strong tannins. Notes of spice and red fruit and smokey oak.

Intense and spicy with notes of black pepper

12/26 very good, the bottle from Meg’s mystery friend from her girls party. Would not pay 4x Goldschmidt though!

Cork wasn’t in good shape, but still drinkable

Medium body. Spicy finish.

Very mild oak flavour with elegant plum flavour and nice balance of dry and sweet. $23 at liquor store.

Lots of oak on the nose, citrus, and raisins. Medium- body. A decent mildly spicy finish. Tastes a lot some Malbecs I've had from Argentina. There are better options for the money for sure, but I don't think I dislike it as much as some of the other reviewers I've read.

UPDATE: this definitely gets better and more complex in the glass. Takes it from 2.5 to 3 stars. The wife likes it.
