Xisto Cru Douro Branco

Very interesting white and more body than expected. Even my wife liked it!

Fantastic. Skunky, great bit of acid.

Dinner with friends tonight, light notes if any.

Limestone, green apple, sea spray, perhaps light-sweet oak. A great Portuguese white, years to go!

Oak nose. Some minerals. Wafting kind of non oak scents, thin, innocuous and bland. Some citrus. Balanced.

On schist soil. White peach, lees, herbs, lean minerality. High acid medium body. Burgundian like. Used French oaky

Such an interesting wine. Great salinity and stone fruit. Needs a bit to unwind but can compete against any mineral driven white Chardonnay or similar wine.

Limpo, médio corpo (especialmente pra um Douro), com um toque de frescor. Falta-lhe uma acidez mais aguda e maior persistência na boca
