2012 vintage. Riesling-like on the nose, citrusy palate but a bit short on interest. A producer I respect greatly, but this is a bit forgettable.

Light in appearance and flavor. Super clean green apple, crisp. Easy to drink. Not sure I’d run back, but I didn’t have a problem taking another pull!

I usually like this wine a lot but this bottle was kind of a bummer. Fruit was gone, high acidity, m+ alcohol. Unbalanced. Probably a tough vintage with ripening problems. Pato is an amazing producer with very good quality wines. Even his medium range wines are amazing. It happens.
