Medium intensity rubi with nice soft tannins, red fruit flav and apparent high alcohol ( 15 abv). High acidity. I tasted this same vintages 2 years ago. Now it’s much better! Drink it now. Nice wine! — 4 years ago

Garnet. Legs still show faint color. Nose: tertiary flavors., some “crayon” and dry herbs; very little fruit. Touch of Brett? ( not sure) Mouth: M+ acidity; soft tannins, well integrated alcohol-13.5 abv; no bitterness; M body. Even less fruit ; may some alcaçuz; dry herbs. Medium intensity rubi. ( my bottle does not have the garnet I’ve seen some folks mention). 13,5% alcohol, tannins are round and soft, very nice M+ /high acidity, medium body and medium finish. Balanced. Medium flavor intensity . Oak flavors are here as expected as the red fruit but I expected more complexity and a longer finish. Very good wine. Ready for drinking now or can wait a couple of years. It received 97 points by Decanter. Personally I wouldn’t go that far... probably my lack of experience! — 4 years ago
I usually like this wine a lot but this bottle was kind of a bummer. Fruit was gone, high acidity, m+ alcohol. Unbalanced. Probably a tough vintage with ripening problems. Pato is an amazing producer with very good quality wines. Even his medium range wines are amazing. It happens. — 4 years ago
Simple but nice wine from Pinto Bandeira- RS , south of Brazil. 11.5% abv, medium + acidity, soft tannins. Red fruit flavors, medium intensity. Medium-/M persistency. I confess I was expecting less... humid region for such a difficult grape to grow properly. Happy to have tasted it! Not for ageing. — 4 years ago
Simple but pretty good wine. Lots of red fruit ( probably last year it would have been a blast). Medium /m+ acidity. You don’t say it’s high alcohol-14,5% abc. Tannins are a bit adstringent with a chalky texture. Not complex but was a nice surprise. — 4 years ago
