Casta Baga Bruto Espumante

This wine is not here to entertain your expectations about what it should be, haha. Lean suggestions of dirty red fruits make themselves known with plenty of earth, green, and some funk to finish it all off. Unapologetically Baga.

Lacks fruit and has no elements of what I look for in a Champagne or Sparkling Wine.

come get some @barcovell for national champagne day. there's lots of bubbles in wines not called champagne!

Dirty, dusty red fruit - red currant, raspberry, rose hip, but also a whiff of blood orange with a mineral core underneath, fresh & slightly funky.
Bone dry on the palate, with persistent bubbles, juicy fruit and a slight touch of tannins. The irony, bloody character of Baga shines through.
Unorthodox, delicious stuff. Brilliant with food.

on lighter side.

открывается подгнившими вишней и абрикосом, прелой листвой, дрожжами. со временем собирается в бабушкин компот из сливы, яблок, вишни и красной смородины. во рту свежо, но все же грязно и фанково.
