Had this one late at night probably a week ago. My notes just say “awesome”. Spelled correctly, so I couldn’t have been too far gone. It’s definitely on the other side of peak, so drink ‘em if ya got ‘em.

Jun 11th, 2016One of the earlier vintages of the Lucia cab (2005), this wine seems to have lost a bit since the last time I tried it a couple of years ago. Terrific fruit on the nose, but it thins out in the mid-palate. Could be in a dumb phase - will hold on to my last bottle to see what happens. Still a very good wine.
