Perhaps it was my arugula salad but this wine, to me, had a peppery bite; certainly not unpleasant. It complimented my porcetta bruschetta with arugula appetizer nicely. It mellowed out as it sat in the glass but I kinda preferred the initial taste. I would drink this again
