A chalky mineral nose follows through to the palate with beeswax, lemon zest, yellow apple, and dry flowers. This is an enjoyable dry Chenin Blanc.

Oxidezed apples, waxy and mineral driven. Soft, round texture with deep acidity that provides structure with no bite. Lovely and interesting.

Silky texture with notes of oxidezed apples and pears with a subtle brown spice and minerality in the finish. Elegant and subtle with great integration of acid. Classy Romorantin

Waxy and weighty, but still good acidity. Savory notes, grilled corn, herbal, autumn spice, strange flowers. Great.

First encounter with Romorantin. Was expecting something Sancerre-like and got something completely different—herbs, brown spices (cloves), elderflower, flinty, savory, smokey (reduction or characteristic of the variety / vineyard?), apple, pear. Sherryesque quality (can something be reductive and oxidative at the same time? Probably not). Full bodied like its cousin, Chardonnay. Was customer favorite at the store tasting tonight. Certainly interesting, but not sure if it’s my jam.

Nose of cloves and pear, lovely taste too! Romorantin grape is really nice. Minerality, a bit of fruit and though it is low alcohol it has a fuller mouthfeel.

A lovely deep apricot, honey color with floral nose to match. Ripe pear notes with a long finish. Great on its own or with appetizers or cheese. Also stands up well to white fish. Delicious.

Nice nose of orange and a little peachy too. Some minerality too.
