Last week for date night we opted for takeaway miso soup, sushi and a bottle of rosé. Does anyone else have s regular date night scheduled in?

When scanning the shelves at Dan Murphy's, how could the cheesy romantic in me not pick this Lovers Not Toreadors 2017 Rosé 😂

It’s super affordable at just under $14 and comes from the Ribera del Duero region in Spain. I’m not certain of the grape variety/s used to make this one. Wine-searcher.com simply says ‘rare rosé blend’. Does anyone know?

Any who it went well with our sushi 🍣

On the eye it’s a pretty pale peach colour. While on the nose it makes me think of fresh red berries with a hint of lemon grass. In the mouth, it’s dry, juicy and has a refreshing grapefruit acidity to it. It’s a fun, flirty wine perfect for a casual date night ❤️💛

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
