Brut Rosé Champagne Blend

The 5th and final wine at the Louis Roederer dinner last Friday night ( even though I did have a sip of the 2015 Cristal which was stunning ). The host for the evening said this Rose was made in a unique style with whole Pinot Noir berries added to the pressed Chardonnay juice. When the Pinot Noir berries split the must is pressed again. Red fruited but not as strawberries and cream as I was expecting.

So...I had a birthday a couple weeks back, due to scheduling my regular bottle finishing team wasn't available until now, so we're finally doing it up in my grand, unique style.

Notes possibly...

Needs to sleep and shame on me for opening but this was a WNH virtual tasting and decided to pop open - surprisingly it was better at end of the bottle - little smiles

Pop and pour deliciousness.

Mature with notes of orange peel , cranberry , earth , sweet bread dough , red flowers . Wonderful crisp orange , cranberries on the palate with excellent acidity and freshness . Disgorged a few years ago .

Gorgeous red berry ,cranberry , elegance refunded with some yeast and minerals . Love the elegance and finesse quite stunning the only complaint the dosage seems a little high . . Recently disgorged bottle .

Vinotheque bottling .

Elegant and refined vinotheque bottling . Light salmon in color with explosive red berry fruit . The vintage wines for Louis Roederer is were the value is in their portfolio .

Awwwwww shit! It could be because I was drinking this at 10am. It could be because I had a bitch of a week and this was a nice way to end it. It could be a combination of both but, this wine lit my pants on fire. So lovely. So precise. I tried to crawl into the bottle and was reprimanded.
