A really pleasant surprise. This is a mountain wine through and through. Dark, intense fruits and tons of pepper. Grippy structure. Enjoyed over two evenings and it held up really well.

Wow, one of the best ideas I ever had, blend the best of the best vineyard in California and make one the most delicious red blends period. Deep dark color complex and seductive with structure and balance. So proud of this wine! Can't wait to taste the 2014.

Mountain red, not Cab. Delish and elegant red fruits. Broader, more silky style, round and plush without being fat. Good spice component. 2011 vintage-which is saying something-a tough, cool year.
