Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Chardonnay

Mike & Rhonda came up to visit us this past Saturday. Came to support my son on his final swim before heading off to college. He just happened to break the pool record in 50 Breaststroke . They purchased this beauty for dinner. We LOVE you both! -at EddieV’s Tyson’s Corner. @Mike R

88’ Krug without the bubbles . Lemon oil. Edit - Creaminess & biscuit. Love it.

Phenomenal and both bottles went beautifully with our stone crabs and long crab legs.

Typical and drinking well right now. Not the best vintage but in a good place right now after a few years in the cellar

A lovely white Burgundy

2014 vintage. Also excellent. Slightly more reductive

Soft green apple light citrus. Perfect with wellfleet oysters.

Nose honey, lime, green apple, caramel. Palette: almond brioche, honey suckle, dried apricots , bright acid. Amazing structure for a white. Fantastic.

The pairing certainly helped but this was v v v v vveeerry good. Nice work @Roger Lehman
