Rose petals, dark cherry, and forest floor on the nose. The woods persist through the palate leading me to believe that there may be some whole cluster. The alcohol shows through a touch too strong despite the heavy tannins.

Really in a great place after a 2 hour decant. We killed that bottle quickly.

Nice. The winemaking and fruit is superb. The nutty oak is just a bit much and doesn't match the fruit. Maybe a bit of oak tannin, too, if I recall correctly. A different oak regime and this would be phenomenal. However, solid QPR.

Burly iron inflected wine. Smoothed out with air. Tasty.
