Perrières Meursault 1er Cru Chardonnay

Nose has slightly oxidized yellow apple peel, jasmine flowers, smoked lemon wedge, crushed gravel and slight honey notes.

Palate has warmed yellow apple slice, dehydrated yellow apple, dried lemon peel, dehydrated white peach, hazelnut, faint acidity and medium finish.

Corked pulled for slow oxidation, 3H. Based on the nose I'm not fully certain this bottle was carefully stored prior to our recent-ish acquisition, the palate confirms.

Had this 2 nights in a row, bangin' on both nights.

Just okay on the backside but not promox

No Premox! This wine is everything you want from cellaring. Ever more youthful with air. Constantly guessing where it's going.

If you can find this 2017 version buy it you will thank me later...potential for 94/95 with age

Stand out at the tasting!

Creamy, with white fruit, pear and citrus. Good minerality and a salty bite. No hint of oxidation. Nice!
