Lucid lemon fruit with underlying oak. Quite restrained and contained. Minerality and quite open knit.

Tasted blind. Medium gold color. Heavy in the glass. Notes of pit fruit, sand, iodine and apricot. Rich and viscous. Iodine and toffee tastes come on with air, as does alcohol. Huge wine.

Darkish color. On the nose poised with clear age, apricot, and delicate honey. On the palate quite lean, great acid, a very pretty balanced middle and a lovely detailed long finish. Really interesting- wouldn't have called Montrachet but it makes sense afterwards.
