Le Cailleret Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

Quite pale lemon straw . Quite generous and round on the nose , quite a bit of oak . After a while lemon oil , touch of oyster shell . On the palate again quite round, more yellow fruit, showing the vintage, touch of alcohol . Wouldn’t automatically think Puligny with this, though after a while there is a bit more of leaness and minerality, ok length getting more mineral with time in the glass . Drink now and over the next 5-8 years . At The Cliff , Barbados
