No formal notes - at an old friend’s unit for dinner at Main Beach. Still red fruit definition but very much more savoury on nose and palate from this excellent red burgundy vintage. Medium palate intensity from this lesser Premier Cru in Mercurey. Arguably past its prime but a pleasant wine nevertheless. Thanks Bookie.

For grocery store wine i have no complaints and would definitely buy this again! Love the balance of fruity and savory notes. Not surprised, french burgundy basically never disappoints.
