Medium ruby - some real color here to match an intense aroma of red currant, violet, red apple skin, raspberry and red cherry, with and under-pinning of forest floor and a bit of rustic leather ands cedar developing. Not as elegant as the Charmes-Chambertin but it has a unique power of its own. Long finish, very appealing and drinking very well.

Not really my personal reference point as the oak is pretty dominant, but this is seriously crafted, long an rewarding.

Very elegant nose and taste. Medium body, quite complex. Some acidity, still had a hard time competing w beef stew.
