Domaine des Héritiers Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Chardonnay

Huuuge wine with plenty of life ahead of it. I wouldn't touch this for 3-5 years.

Really solid bottle. Great acidity, solid fruit. Really well balanced.

Wow. Lots of interesting mineral and earth on nose, then surprising exotic fruits and just a tiny bit of toffee on the finish.

Golden yellow; aroma of vanilla, cinnamon, toasted oak, papaya, lemon, and a musk/leather note; balanced with 13.5% alcohol and high acid but a bit harsh: needs more age. Tannic back then very long finish.

Young. Intense and perfumed. A broad, rich mid palate. Lots of fruit and power. Minerality too. Excellent. Should last a while but very 2009
