A bit of stinky stankiness upon opening. The smells got better though. Like tart cherries wrapped in a dirty leather blanket. Firm, chewy tannins. Not going to win any beauty pageants. More Tom Waits than Taylor Swift.

Really changed over time. Beautiful example of burgundy. Dried leaves and tobacco evolved into leather. Still has great tannin structure.

Beautiful, youthful wine and shows the elegance that Jadot wines achieve. Core of cherry fruit with a bit of camphor on the finish. No rusticity or aggressiveness of tannins whatsoever. Will wait a few more years to open my next one in hopes of developing more secondary notes.

Yum. Stinky cheese nose that at first throws u for a loop. And then u taste...nice structure balanced tannins dark cherry :)
