May 8th, 2020Perfect for a Spring afternoon. Sitting in front of a fire in the chiminea and listening to the sounds of birds coming in from their migrations. New arrivals each week, filling our yard with song.
Prior notes still apply, lovely at just over $11.

Starting off the Thanksgiving week with my in-laws.
Similar to the 2017, but much more expressive on all fronts. Nose has blood orange and fresh cut herbs. Palate is lively; Pinot saignée with red berries, light citrus and good acidity balance.
A pop & pour star, can satisfy a crowd while easily keeping your expenses in check.

On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the Wynton Marsalis Quintet, with very special guest performance by the Ellis Marsalis Quintet. A very exciting show, this will be the second time we've seen father (Ellis) and son (Wynton) together on these grounds.
A delicate nose of under-ripe blood orange and fresh cut herbs. Palate is light, but lively; Pinot saignée with red berries, light citrus and good acidity balance. Improving with air.

Jul 24th, 2017Pleasant rose. Peaches on the finish. I like a drier rose style, but this is a good quaffer.
