I am not usually a stand-alone Merlot kind of guy, so decided to give this a spin to see if old world was better then new world in this variety. A little drier, muted mature red fruit and an awesome bouquet- I think I like the old world Merlots more then the fruitful California versions I’ve tried. This is def more my speed for Merlot, and it’s at an easy price to boot. Good bottle!
