Not sure if this had a too much age and lost something or if it’s just in a dumb stage but it was pretty shut down, bitter and hot though the richness was still there.

This wine is lovely in a Grace Kelly sort of way. Elegant and regal with some surprises along the way. 12.5% alcohol and there is nothing wrong with that!

2011 Extraordinary, like no other wine. Complicated aromas of dried fruit and chervil along with some petrol-like notes. Silky texture, acidity snuggling with considerable extract in a fur blanket. If silver had a drinkable form, it would be this (@wdgildon). Long.
