Color: light gold. Nose: gardenia, yeast, and sweet lemon. Body: medium (+) for a white. Acidity: slightly effervescent on the mid palate with a bite on the finish. Taste: lemon, butter, apple cider with some mineral bitterness. Finish: floral, mineral. Tried with both goose liver pate and salami. Much better with the salami. I just edited this post because I remember how much I wanted to like this but I really didn't. Something about the mineral bitterness didn't actually work. I am keeping it pretty high because it was a great cerebral wine but my taste buds were less enthused.
