Cranberry, pomegranate, candied cherry, green tea. Decent acidity balanced out the ripeness of the fruit.

Tastes like a valley-floor Burgundy e.g. Chorey-les-Beaune... candied cherry nose, balanced acidity, light tomato leaf (partial whole cluster fermentation), sweet balsamic. 3 years in bottle before release. Should be regarded as a complete success from a master sommelier.

Crafted by Master Sommelier Geoff Keith of “Somm” game and consulting winemaker Megan Glaab from from Ryme Cellars with fruit sourced from from the Bartolomei Vineyard in the Green Valley section of the Russian River Valley. Fairly typical for Russian River Valley Pinot although with little discernible oak influence. 13.5% ABV. $48.

Briary, dried strawberry. Has a taught ness on the palate that contrasts with the ripe nose.

Great Pinot. Love the balance. Bright red fruits, cherry and balsamic notes, all balanced with great acidity and just the right amount of ripeness. Very well done

2011 is singing right now. Restraint and balance. Cranberry, sour cherry, herb. So pretty. Wish I had more.
