Old Mencia vines, a perfect mix of silky fruit and fantastic typical Bierzo punch. No wonder Suckling rated it a 95. Sweet finish.

They make a fantastic wine with a lot of personality. This is an exemplar of what Bierzo can really be. Truffled, elegant, but not stuffy.

Blackberry, Big League Chew, cured meat, smoke. Dark fruits on the palate with some meaty, spicy notes on the mid palate that reminds me of chorizo. Medium acidity and medium, dusty tannins. Good stuff.
