Jun 10th, 2020Made by the great randy Dunn the grapes for this wine are sourced from the wahluke slope and tri cities this wine is a more elegant style of Cabernet Sauvignon and even has a bit of Brett medicinal cigar box spice and some herbs and milk chocolate notes. A very fresh and elegant wine with currant and plum fruit with some of that cigar box spice and fresh earth. Finish 45+ most excellent

Very dark purple, almost black, opaque. Cooked dark red fruits, blackberries, slate minerality, on the nose. Dry, Medium- body, dark chocolate, tobacco, coffee, sour cherries, medium+ tannins, medium+ intensity, long finish.

Snow day Wednesday. I feel like a pedophile touching this so young. Being a Randy Dunn wine, I would rather drop the extra $20 for the Howell Mtn juice.

A little thin, but clean with a good finish. Aged cheddar was a perfect compliment.
