Tonight the wine of choice is the 2018 Long Meadow Ranch Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc.

On the nose I am getting honeydew melon, mango, white peach, green apple and white flowers.

On the palate there is succulent notes of grapefruit, lime, green apple, minerals and fresh-cut green grass.

This wine is medium bodied with a crisp clean mouthfeel, mouthwatering medium+ acidity that moves nicely into a long citrusy finish. With the world seemingly opening back up from its long year and a half slumber, please continue to be safe and healthy and be kind to one another. Nostrovia! πŸ₯‚πŸ₯‚πŸ₯‚πŸ₯‚

Since many of my go-to SB's have experienced 'bracket creep' to $25 and above I look to this stylish wine that has lots of pure flavors, lots of zip - new package too!

Long Meadows Ranch Sauvignon Blanc 2012! Bright but pale color, medium viscosity, aroma of grapefruit, lime, and Salt. Light bodied, crisp, medium acidity, more lime than grapefruit, candied lime peel, good zip from acidity, smokiness on the finish with a medium+ length on the finish. Worth the $19 or so I paid.
