Long Barn
California Chardonnay
Well not the stuff I'm used when the label reads chardonnay! Nose with exotic fruits and butter and a bit of oak. The palate is very round, almost semi dry and playing the fruit card. The acid backbone is overwhelmed and the finish rather expeditive. This is interesting from a learning perspective but not really an expression of chardonnay I like.

My brother said it tasted a bit like the end of an old caribean rum. It feels a bit artificial to be honest... We had it at our favourite place next door, next to a pond and surrounded by trees. The food we had along with it was good so I guess everybody's happy 😅
