Great sparkling rose. Light color - good fruit and a great value for a special occasion. Good producer overall.

Say hello to the Logan 2019 Vintage ā€˜Mā€™ CuvĆ©e from Orange, NSW. Other than itā€™s striking orange label hereā€™s a few things to know about this deliciously dry sparkling wine:

šŸ¾ Itā€™s made predominantly of chardonnay, with approximately 18% pinot noir and 18% pinot meunier.

šŸ¾ Itā€™s named after the winemakers father, Malcom Logan

šŸ¾ The grapes are grown at 930 metres above sea level

I throughly enjoyed it! For $40 a bottle itā€™s great value.

In the glass itā€™s nearly a brassy shade with notes of spiced apple crumble, lemon curd slathered on fresh bread and a sprinkling of sea salt on the nose. In the mouth itā€™s super vibrant and fresh, crunchy, crisp and wonderfully thirst quenching.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

Itā€™s time to crack the bubbles! Seriously, I can always find an excuse to pop open a bottle of sparkling wine. Whatā€™s your best excuse? Drop it in the comments below!

I received this sample of the Logan Wines 2016 Vintage ā€˜Mā€™ CuvĆ©e recently to taste (thank you!!).

Itā€™s made from 63% Chardonnay, 19% Pinot Noir and 18% Pinot Meunier and hails from the Orange region in NSW. The combination of vines grown at a high altitude and in a cool climate makes Orange a great spot for producing quality sparkling wines.

This bubbles is made the same way as champagne is made. But remember we shouldnā€™t call it champagne because itā€™s not made in the Champagne region in France. ā€˜Champagneā€™ is a special term reserved only for our Frenchie cousins who make and grow wines in the designated region.

Itā€™s safe to say this beautiful bubbles went down a treat in our house. Hereā€™s our notes:

In the glass itā€™s rose gold / onion skin / sunrise hue colour. On the nose creamy citrus notes made us think of lemon butter on scones with hints of fresh raspberries and crunchy apples. While in the mouth it has an incredibly smooth mouthfeel, and refreshing acidity with hints of Turkish delight, almond croissant and citrus. YUM!

This CuvƩe retails for $40 and can be bought through www.loganwines.com.au

This wine was sent to me direct from the winery as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

Very good. Mealy, rich and relatively full bodied. Fine bead. A little out of whack for me as it was caught between an excellent vintage richness and a refreshing NV. I'm holding my other bottles in the hope of a transformation.

Lovely rose sparkling wine made with chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot muenier. The bubbles are just perfect. The fruit is crisp, and the wine is dry and crisp.
