A delightful Rose from Orwin Swift. Honeysuckle on the nose with flavors of honeydew, apricot, melon, and herbs with moderate acidity and a beautiful pink color.

The nose is fresh and herbal, with berries in the bottom of the basket, stems and leaves on top. On the palate, there's an acidity that tingles. There are cherry and strawberry flavors that mingle with spice and sage. It's a delightful rosé, even if its origins are slightly obscure. It's France, the south, Grenache, so I won't quibble too much.

Feb 16th, 2017Oh my God! This is crazy good! Crisp, fruity, (not annoyingly so); refreshing with a slight tingle of acidity. This Rose is absolutely beautiful.

Jun 14th, 2017For a rose this must be good. Dave Phinney, usually a favorite, typically does well. This has a nose of fruity sugar and then tastes with overtones of peach and sadly leaves a bit of bitter peach pit. Maybe I just don't like Rose?
