Haunting aromatics, stemmy with subtle campfire smoke. You could taste and see the age, dry and savoury, black tea. Light cherry layers. Probably on the downslope from here as the acid just holding it all together.

Decanted once yesterday, showed a little. Re-bottled 3/4 then reopened and decanted tonight - gorgeous! Was giving the 2005 Richebourg a run... recommend a two-day on this one until it gains a little age.
