Apparently this is the Croatian ancestor of our California Zinfandel. Served slightly chilled, this was a deliciously fruity and rich wine. The 15.1% alcohol is completely hidden by the black cherry and plum fruits along with fresh, crisp acidity. Different and delicious and perfect for a summer dinner.

It made us feel too blacked out with just one glass. Great with pungent cheese but no recommended for more than one glass
