Bursting with tropical and citrus fruits. Chalky dry. Passion fruit, citrus rind and marmalade span the entire palate. Finish lacks complexity.

Very interesting.. first dry Jurancon I've had. Petit Manseng/Gros Manseng blend.. fresh aromatics with some minerality and bright citrus on the finish. Different.

Sep 28th, 2016Blend of Gros Manseng (80%) and Petit Manseng (20%). Medium golden color. Aromas of citrus, stone fruit, wet stones and white flowers. Flavors of lemon/lime, white peach, grapefruit and apricot fruit with a touch of honey. Firm mineral backbone comes to the forefront on the long and lingering (slightly tingly) finish. Vibrant acidity and a chalky texture. Quite complex and vibrant! Bone dry, medium-minus bodied and very refreshing. Solid value.

This was delicious and unlike anything I’ve had. The color was so dark and golden that I was worried it was no good, but the nose was all fruit. Not a citrusy wine, other than maybe some orange marmalade, it’s all ripe, waxy orchard fruit & melon with a saline, savory finish. Full bodied and oily in texture. I expected some oxidation, especially considering the color, but this was fresh and fruity all the way. This was a beautiful, honest tasting wine.
