Barolo Nebbiolo

Wasn't until the last glass that this truly got to express itself, but when it did she was singing. Roses to note in the aroma, along with earth/damp soil, liquorice, root vegetables and dark cherry. Still feels super youthful. Well structured but not distracting at all, just give her some decent air time.

Very approachable indeed. Still a little shy, but beautifully balanced with liquorice, leather and dried floral notes on the nose, with an earthy palate that finishes with insistent tannins. Finished a main of beef, then needed to bring out some cheese to restore saliva levels. Decanted for four hours, but keen to leave this overnight and see how it develops.

Still very youthful, tight and maybe a little thin at this stage, excellent nose

Pretty decent for the price. A bit more air starting bringing out the nuances.

Beautiful blood orange, negroni and dried cherry character initially shown which has developed into showing those notes and additionally raspberry, hay and amaretto notes. The palate highlights it's dried cherry character and shows some porcini stock like mid-palate coating

Not very exciting but a solid wine. Good price as well!
