Labrusca Reggiano Lambrusco Rosso

Good Lambrusco—dry, easy to drink, nothing complex. Slight bitterness but it stays in your palate a bit.

Lovely with Michael’s pulled pork and again with roasted chicken on a warm evening.

Frothy, dry, light and red fruit forward. With our 4th of July dinner of soy sauce burgers, sweet and spicy slaw, and green salad with miso-lime dressing. Serve it cooooooold. 💥⭐️✨🎆🎇✨💥

Juicy, soft bubbles, strawberry jam with good sweetness. Not too cloying. Fruit leather and gummies.

This Lambrusco is garnet red on the eye with a small number of bubbles formed around the top of the glass. It has a strong aroma of chocolate brownies and cherries with an earthy undertone. On the palate it's like juice slightly spiked with booze. It's so different when you're use to drinking new world sparkling reds that it's really quite hard to convey its uniqueness. It's tart yet smooth. The high acidity would match well to tomato based dishes or perhaps even pizza!

It was a surprisingly fun choice. Unusual choice for a ‘cheers’ wine or hot summer night red wine.
