Montrachet from Oregon? Yes! Terrific effort.

Bright medium yellow in color with aromas of lemon, green apple, and white flowers. The palate is driven by racy acidity and stony minerality. Combines fruit from predominantly Nekia soils in Salem’s Bunker Hill, Eola-Amity Hills including Lingua Franca Estate Vineyard, Yamhill-Carlton, and a small contribution from Laubejac Vineyard near Monmouth in Willakenzie soils. Very pleasant entry level wine. 13% ABV. $35.

2019-09-07 Love it. $38. Crisp and mellow, not too acidic or citrusy, not oaky. Good minerality. Enjoying on its own, but also imagining pairing with tender grilled octopus, Barceloneta style. Yum!

Очень интересное, минеральное вино в стилистике бургундии, но более свежее и без хлебного тостового привкуса

Correction! Left my notes behind. This the Chardonnay was actually great they included plenty of stem. I was not a big fan of the higher end Pinot.

Lots of eucalyptus and vanilla on the nose. More new oak than I’d like, but there’s enough acid and salinity to balance it out.
