California Chardonnay

This wine has a golden tint in the glass. The nose offers much fruit, such as citrus, apple, and apricot notes. The palate is soft and creamy, with acidity fresh, but not as racy as I remember it. The fruit flavors stand out still. I have cooked with thus wine before, but this time it helped a tomatillo guacamole go down nicely.

This wine was purchased for cooking, and as the saying goes, sometimes I even get it in the food. Well, it is quite dry, although a tad oaky. I was in the mood for it, so it didn't bother me at all. I used it in a sauce for a creamy lemon butter pasta dish. It worked just fine, and tasted great, too. In fact, every Line 39 wine I have had has been good.

This pale straw-colored wine smells sweet from fruit and oak. There are notes of citrus, apple and pear on the nose, along with a distinct floral component. On the palate, fruit again leads the way. Oak spice plays an important role, although it is not overdone. Acidity is quite fresh and the finish is long and pleasant. This wine will pair very well with a buttery pasta dish or shellfish.

Loads of sweet vanilla on the palate and nose, balanced with baking spices and ripe stone fruits.

It was good wine to pair it white fish

Surprisingly bright and tropical for a Cali chard. Lighter body and slightly mineraly. Very pleasant

Liked this a lot. Definitely worth having again, especially for the price.
