The most dense and big of all the Linden wines I tasted, however it was varietally correct. Juicy, loaded with flavor and tannin, good acidity too. Petite Verdot tends to ripen well in more years than not in VA. I have had impressive PV from NJ as well.

Blackberry and black raspberry predominate with interesting spices. Still disjointed. Wants time in bottle. Acidity is fairly high.

Really great- lots of cherry and pepper and cedar on the nose, and on the palate. Decently long finish and medium to full bodied, strong backbone of tannins that have softened a bit with time.

Remains the best va wine out there. Great tannin, lots of wild berry flavors with a fantastic mushroom note.
