A true Claret color of ruby red, the nose shows elegant and fresh notes of red tree fruits, a toast of spice and mint. The palate is precise and pure, with a fine density in the core of the wine's medium+ body and structure.

Medium bodied, with restrained black fruit, modest tannins, some mineral quality, with fragrant mushroom and forest floor notes developing with air. Clyde's has this on their list at retail price; much appreciated.

Showing its age well , this blend of CS, PV, Merlot and CF shows a tad underripe on the attack, but it follows with impressive texture and complexity, showing a sophisticated wine.
